Hi,

If I rip a cd using EAC as a cdimage and play using the cue sheets, at the
track transition it glitches briefly, just long enough to notice with two or
more players sync'd.

If I play the cdimage itself the track transition is fine both using
slimserver and windows media player so the WAV itself has ripped ok. Also
the cue file plays perfect when playing back on a non-sync'd player.

With albums where the transitions are mixed, the glitch is very noticable
and I guess it as a result of the cue sheet loading the next track and
layers re-sync'ing or something?? Unfortunately the only time I usually play
this kind of album is for parties when I also sync up all the players....try
explaining that one to a bunch of folks getting well stuck into their
alcoholic beverages... ;-)

Its kinda annoying, anyone seen and fixed this one? Other than that I get on
really well with my 4 squeezes and have demo'd them to all sort of people...

Thanks
Andy

I'd be willing to bet it will be near impossible to play gapless with sync. The
players are resynced to teh start of the track at the beginning of every track.
Unless your network lag is exactly matched among players, there will be a
slight gap while each player waits for all players to be ready to start. If
all you want is gapless and in order, make the album into ONE track. However,
over the course of a 40 minute WAV, its likely that sync will have some drift.
