Thanks anyway man ...

If i run mov123 from the command line against the suspect file i get:

Failed at line: 279
Conversion failed with error: -37

For the non suspect files it seems to run OK.

If anyone has any idea what error -37 is, be kool if you could let me know.

Thx.

H.

Unfortuantely I know next to nothign about m4a files. Do your comments show
up
from other m4a files?

From that log, the server certainly seems to think the file is playable, it
finds the right command, but as you guessed it seems to think the file ends
after just one second. can you try running the conversion command manually
to
see what happens? In this case:

C:\Program Files\SlimServer\server\Bin\MSWin32-x86-multi-thread\mov123.exe"
"S:\Test\Get Physical Presents DJ T - Robot Riot (Electric Press Remix).m4a"

maybe mov123 will spit out something meaningful.

otherwise, you might need to have one of the other experts here have a look
at
that file specifically to see if there is anything else.

bet I can tell from looking at the code (available on cvs) is that error 37 has
something to do with an error trying to open the file. Of course, I can't
really speak C++ so I may be wrong. As to what 37 means specifically in regards
to WHY the file cant' be opened...Dean or Vidur will have to answer that one.
