have Duet, and Squeezebox, just bought Transporter SE. I have downloaded FLAC @ 24/96. How do i know that the Transporter is decoding at 24/96, is there a display function i cannot find, or do we just trust the technology?

Would it be not enough to confirm that Transporter could decode 24/96 if it plays actual 24/96 files ?

Well, if you can't clearly hear that it is playing back at 96kHz (which it does - unless you have bitrate limiting enabled)... :-)

Trust your ears...

All SB devices are always 24-bit by the way.

Unless it's synced to the lesser players, in which case the tracks will be downsampled to 24/48 server-side which all units can play?
