View Full Version : Missing Playlist?

I'm sorry but I have just about had it with my Squeezebox and slimserver!
Despite all the hype about getting a fully debugged server release out, it
still hasn't happened! I have just installed the release of 5.3 and my
playlists are empty - both iTunes and Moodlogic. In addition, I have got the
"garbled" playlist paths as reported by someone else. I have rescanned my
music files about 6 times and it has not cured the problem.

I am sorry to be so negative but I would have thought that as playlists are
a pretty fundamental part of the slimserver setup they would have been
exhaustively checked out?

I must admit that I am pleased that other bugs seem to have been resolved
and I can't find any other problems so I am really disappointed with the
latest problem. I *do* appreciate all the hard work that goes in to this but
please guys, don't release it until you are certain it is a good 'un!

Regards
Roger, Newbury, UK

my apologies. that was my fault. oddly, despite all the people that do use
nightly builds, no one noticed, even myself that these playlists were empty.

I'm sorry. All I can say, is that its now fixed and hopfully we'll have a .1
release after a few days of wide distribution.
