A quick recommendation for a very handy little app called FileBrowser. It connects to file shares/NAS so you can view and modify/move files/folders etc. Best of all, It works flawlessly with my HDD connected to my Squeezebox Touch. I also backup my entire 100GB photo collection to that drive, so I can now browse them without the need to use my PC or mess around with iTunes. Also handy for quickly deleting the Squeezebox's DB, cache and viewing logs etc.

FileBrowser - Access files on remote computers for iPad on the iTunes App Store (http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/filebrowser-access-files-on/id364738545?mt=8&ls=1)

Top little app, I believe there is an iPhone version with a different name. Not tried it though.

All I need now is an app for tag editing...

cool. I used it to browse to files on my vortexbox and NAS. Haven't figured out how I might use it to do anything but cool nonetheless and I'm sure I'll think of something.

As i said, I just find it handy for accessing my photo archive on the same USB drive by touch and clearing the SB DB quickly. Plus viewing logs.

What would be cool is to be able to move files too/from my iPhone/iPad via a JB...

That is a pretty cool app, so fast with my Qnap NAS & iPad. Nice find - thanks for sharing it.

Is there a similar app for the Android OS?
