After a long beta period, SlimServer Version 5.3.0 has been released.

You can download it here:

There are a huge number of fixes and improvements in this version,
including:

- Major firmware upgrade focused on stability and performance;
- Support for a variety of proportional fonts and animation for the new
graphic display;
- A wide variety of improvements to the web and player user interface;
- Built-in RadioIO Internet Radio., you can see the detailed release
notes on that page.

Only one issue so far - no vertical Squeezebox remote, only horizontal!

really?? wow...I thought they were only ever built vertical :)
what happens if you turn it 90 degrees either direction?

of course, I'm assuming you actually mean softsqueeze. in which case, try
draggin it around a bit. It might be appearing offscreen. Both remotes are
working for me. The horizonal arrow brings up the horizontal remote, vertical
brings up vertical.
