View Full Version : Strange behaviour of Squeezebox

Today my squeezebox has been playing all day. At once it started to play the
songs much faster. As I presses the Now Playing button, the display said in
the topleft position: "Now scanning 4x". I could not get this away, so I
restarted the player. Then it was over. Has anybody seen the behaviour
before?

Cor,

If you press and hold the FWD or REW buttons on the remote you can
start fast-forward or reverse scanning. Pressing pause, or the other
of the two buttons will stop it.

Pressing and holding forward or reverse does nothing on my squeezebox G
running the lastest nightly with Firmware 35 while playing a flac file.

I always wondered why that stopped working as I remember using that
feature in the past.

That's right. Fast-forward and fast-reverse work for MP3, AIFF and WAV
files, but not for transcoded file types at this time. We do plan on
fixing this in the future.
