Hi All,

http://www.templeaudio.net/bantam.html

Just wanted to say thanks for the bods who make this - I must have got it about a year ago and I really like it for a discrete install

Basically it sits underneath my bed along with a receiver - powering a Bose 2 +1 speaker plus subwoofer either side of the bed

http://www.bose.co.uk/GB/en/home-and-personal-audio/speakers/stereo-speakers/acoustimass-3-speakers/

I am liking the sound so much thinking of getting rid of the Audiolab amp and redundant cd player; tuner and cassette player which never get used downstairs

Just wondering if the amp will be enough to power a couple of Castle Harlech speakers

I'm not sure what speakers you are planning but they are surely an improvement

Hi There,

I've been a member on this forum for a while but only just remembered my login...Doh!

Like the man says, the bantam deserves much more than Bose speakers.

I've got 4 T-Amps around the house at the moment, a Bantam Classic (15wpc @ +3 gain), Bantam Gold (25wpc with optional +6 gain), Muse M21 (25wpc + additional 60w linear PSU), and a Mini-T (20wpc).

All very very good, for my money the Mini-T is the best value/sound quality package at 62 (and has a UK warranty). I'm hoping to try it with my muse PSU which is being repaired (the danger of buying straight from china)

I run them all into upgraded mission 780SE's, and the sound is excellent, there're lots of people using these T-Amps with much more exotic kit.

Cheers,

Will

sorry should have been clearer - like the setup a lot; because it is so discreet and above all small which is ok for bedroom radio and streamed listening

The downstair speakers are obviously a lot lot nicer sound wise; but they would look a bit daft either side of my bed!

Sorry mate need to learn to read...

They'd look smart by the bed!

I have to say that these little t-amps are really good, most of my 'normal' stuff is audiolab, and they certainly compete...
