....will be in the next nightly build.

This release fixes rare crashes in the setup menus and also some
squirrelly IR response.

Picked up 9/7 nightly, updated to .36.

IR response seems good.

Attempting to set a static IP (as I've always done) causes
the unit to restart. Had to throw DHCPD on my linux box
to get around this -- went back and tried static several
times, no go.

It happens as soon as I right-arrow on "set static IP", btw
(the panel wherein I'd normally enter the IP never appears).

Hi,

I am using DHCP and it works but I indeed notice a strange boot sequence, the
SB was asking once or twice for an IP address (I don't remember the message)
but at the end booted correctly. The IR response seems ok now.

If you see it again, try to make a note of what screens you were
seeing...

the issue below is fixed now (the only change in v.37).

AFAIK all issues involving garbage graphics overlaid on the screen have
been fixed. If anyone notices otherwise, that would be the only
show-stopper right now. So please let me know if anyone sees this.

Also fixed is the lost contact message mentioned on the developer's
list.

So are we in a position where the nightlies are frozen for
long enough for us to beat the bugs out it? I.E. nothing
but bug fixes for the next couple weeks.

Yes - feature freeze now.

Any activity on the server should be happening only in the SQL branch -
main branch is bug fixes only. I'm definitely not fiddling with any
visualizer stuff or other firmware features until this is out.
