Last night I noticed some display corruption on a wireless sbg, running
v35 firmware - first when powered off and also after playing some songs.

The corruption was different than I've seen in previous versions - it
was definitely a regular pattern. Vertical bars were blanked out and there
was repeated "herringbone" pattern of blank pixels. It is easiest
to see in the progress bar. I took a photo:

The problems went away after I powered off the player.

During the same time, I noticed no problems with my wired SBG. The wireless
SBG with the trouble is a new one, the wired one has an upgraded display.

Thanks

That is EXCATLY my "hardware failure" pattern! When I mean EXACTLY I
mean per pixel by pixel and even the fact that the vertical blanked out
bars are not completely blanked out, rather just darkened to the point
they are almost blank... At this point there are 2 choices:

1. Either Jason's is failing in hardware, which has a unique way of
happening.

2. There is still a firmware bug around, which Jason and I are more
affected than the other folks...

My problems do not go away after powering off the player. HOWEVER THEY
DID GO AWAY AFTER "Hardware reset" (press & hold Add while power
cycling). The screen gets garbled after a while, but the pattern ALWAYS
is the same, identical to Jason's.

Mine is wired, and upgraded SBG without the wireless card.
