Not can... Always will stop... when have 4-10 000 songs in
a playlist. But I cant understand why all the players must
stop when I change list on one player.

I have interruptions in my system several times per day. I
don´t know why but I have 15 players on the same server and
I think the slimserver don´t like this. The computer is a
fast dual Xeon 2.4 with 1 Gb RAM and it works fine all the
time. slim.exe somethimes stops.

Phillip,

This won't really help you, other than to make you aware that it's possible,
but I've never had any dropout problems with my wireless squeezebox playing
flac->wav, and that's with *any* version of the firmware and server.

The only time I ever experience any interruption to audio is when I do
something "stupid" with the slimserver web interface like start playing a
new playlist of 5,000 songs - that can cause audio to stop briefly.

Hope you get sorted.

I always get interuption in the same songs. And I think
that bitrate is the problem. If I show the cachmemoy on the
slimdevice it goes to 70% and then down to 0% (the music
stops) it went up to 50% an down to 0% again and the musik
stops again.... and so on.

For example:
Songinfo in slimserver that shows if I klick on a song:
Titel: Slow Jamz Ft. Kanye West And J
Artist: Twista
Album: Kamikaze
Filformat: Windows Media
Längd: 3:32
Filstorlek: 2.149.434 Bytes
Bithastighet: 80kbps VBR
Modifierat datum: Friday, January 23, 2004, 23:16:10
Plats: file:///M:/music_library/mp3disc01003 (SOUL R&B
HIPHOP)/Twista - Slow Jamz (ft. Kanye West & Jamie
Foxx).wma (Ladda ned)

As you can se - this is a 80kbps VBR and 2Mb for a song
that is 3.32 min long isn´t so big. But this is a song that
always are beeing hacked and full of interupts. Tha cache
will never go up to 100%

A song that are bad to is:
Titel: Together Again
Artist: Janet Jackson
Kompositör: David Rotheray; Paul Heaton
Album: Music of the Millennium, Vol. 1 Disc 2
Genre: Rock
Spår: 15
Filformat: Windows Media
Längd: 4:08
År: 1999
Filstorlek: 3.995.346 Bytes
Bithastighet: 0kbps VBR
Modifierat datum: Wednesday, August 25, 2004, 23:35:08
Plats: file:///M:/music_library/mp3disc01001 (SOUL R&B
HIPHOP)/Janet Jackson - Together Again.wma (Ladda ned)

0kbps... It maybe a bad id-tag but it works in windows
mediaplayer. And when I now have played about 1500 songs.
I´ll see that all songs with 0kbs VBR is bad - It play in
right speed but stops everytime the cachememory falls to 0
%. And It always will do that with this songs.

When plying other songs - the cachememory on the device is
always 100% or 99% It I load my network hard - it may fall
to 95%.

Another question: Is there a simple program for windows
that can check if the mp3-file is
correct?

WeWindows Media
