The double-size and scrolling issues have almost been nailed in the latest
nightly, but there's still one more issue that I see:

When playing in double-size and the song advances, the old song info is
still left scrolling. Regular size is ok.

do you have the scrollpause set to 0? or a very low number?
the large animation with low scrollpause might actually work...which is a
problem, becuase at 0 it would never leave the animation loop to let the line
change :)

small animation has a fixed pause that can't be avoided. this guarantees a
break for other routines to change the lines.

either way, shoudl be fixable.

I noticed that too. Sometimes it takes a few seconds (less than 10 it
seems, but more than 2 or 3) for the title to change. This is on a SBG
with firmware 35 and the 9/03 nightly, using the "Huge" text size.

On the other hand, scrolling is now a beautiful thing with this firmware
and server version. Smooth. And I don't need bitrate limiting anymore -- I
can now play FLAC->WAV just fine, with only the occasional dropout. (I'm
hoping things get tweaked even further, so I don't get any dropouts, but
it's pretty livable right now so I'm not complaining.)
