Both wired and wireless MAC addresses on my squeezebox have changed to random and non-sequential data unrelated to the original addresses.
After allowing the 'new' MAC address access to my wireless network everything seems OK.
But I am concerning why and how it would have happened - and if it keeps happening it's going to be a pain (as I will need to keep authorising 'different' wireless devices access to the network.
Has this happened to anyone else?
And can anyone shed some light on this experience?
Thanks
Matt

Matt,

This is the first we've heard of this.

What MAC addresses do you have now?

A similar thing happened to my SliMP3. Originally it was
00:04:20:02:00:EB, now it's 00:04:20:04:04:02.

It can be set back by hacking the firmware updater, right?
