View Full Version : Anyone up for a fun little survey?

Ok...I hope you do not think this cute little survey is too stupid but, I have been enjoying my newly-found (actually 1 year in February) Squeeze System so much. I really think it has changed my day-to-day habits in many ways. So, I was wondering if I was alone in this regard. So I pose a question to all you "Squeeze-lovers"

In ONE LINE how have the Squeezeboxes AND/OR the available music services changed your life (if at all)?

Rules: 1.only a one line response
2. only one idea at a time and then must wait at least 6 other responses before adding your next response.

This little game might fall flat (I'm prepared for that, but might be interesting).
I will go first:

I watch much less television because I am listening to music, etc.

It allows me to amaze everyone that comes to my house.

"The music is coming from where?" "....how did you just change things with your iphone?" "How does the little thingy sitting here (the TOUCH) know what album is playing in a different room and even show the art?" "How are you listening to New York radio?"

It has greatly elevated the role music plays in my life. I'm eternally grateful to the makers and developers (server and plug-in) who made it possible!

I have rediscovered/remembered my youth!

(Yes, I understand that! I, too, have located old albums ( that have been lost over time).... albums that were very meaningful to me as a kid. They have really brought back fond memories, which include memories of past girlfriends because of the music we would enjoy....Johnny Mathis/Mantovani. Also music I used to sing to... The Four Freshman. In addition, I even found a Mothergoose album that I would listen to when I was very young. Thanks to Rhapsody!) Sorry I violated the rule.

My life has changed with the Squeezes, the music services and with ipeng because I have now been introduced to so many new classical music selections (some recommended by new-found forum and last.fm friends), which are so conveniently Squeeze-provided with such awesome clean fidelity that I have never enjoyed before. (long sentence but still considered within the one-liner rule)

Love ?? I really like my squeezebox, i got 3 of them (the first one heas a dead screen and can't be repaired) before you discovered it; i use the word love for my wife and kids, not an inexpensive piece of electronic which happens to work well but is not so fantastic, or you don't have listened to many good things before. Hope it doesn't break your heart when it stops working. I don't know you but i imagine you must be pretty young to be so enthusiastic - so i forgive you.

My Squeezeboxes have whitened my teeth, helped build my body twelve ways, cured the heartbreak of psoriasis, eliminated odors, done away with ring-around-the-collar, made my clothes smell April-fresh, housebroken my cat, given my dog's coat that healthy protein glow, reduced waxy build-up, killed bugs dead, amazed my friends, made my dishes lemony-fresh, improved my complexion, purified my blood, and helped me to win friends and influence people.

Well, maybe the Squeezeboxes haven't done ALL of those things. But they've delivered more pleasure and satisfaction than most products ever have.
