Is there any way to find out which sound device the Java Sound Engine is
using? When I try to run Softsqueeze on my IBM T41 thinkpad it appears to
be playing but no audio can be heard. My suspicion is that the Java sound
mapping is broken in some way, maybe it's addressed by a Java fix or new
drivers for the sound card, but there must be someplace to look and see what
the Sound Engine is recognizing at startup.
