Subject: [slim] New SB owner: 2 questions

Hi,

Owner of a SB running firmware 31 and SS v5.3.0b1 on Windows XP w/SP2.

I have two questions:
1. I experience frequent reboots/restarts of the SB while browsing my
music
collection via the SB using the remote control. This normally happens
when
I finally select a song to play. The SB restarts, but all of my
settings
are saved so it is just a matter of hitting the ">" key a number of
times
to get through all the settings. The SB reconnects and picks up right
where it restarted (meaning the song I selected is displayed and I hit
play
to listen to it). Has anyone come across this?

2. I have iTunes protected AAC songs purchased from iTunes v4.5 and 4.6.
I
have converted them from .m4p's to unprotected .m4a's using Hymn 0.7.1.

iTunes plays the decrypted .m4a's just fine. However, I can not get the
SS
to play the .m4a's. I can browse to them and select the song, and the
SB
shows it playing (incl. the progress bar), but I can't hear any sound.
I'm
under the impression this can work as I've read messages from others who

have used Hymn to create .m4a's they can listen to on their SB. Has
anyone
come across this?

THANKS!
