Just had some of this myself. Daily the SB G crashes.

Display is left in some half mode with bits of the old date screensave
under the new screensaver being updated (so obviously a connection to
the server exists). Pressing any button causes the SB G to reboot and
the server to crash !

Have go the server running now with debug on.

Running 5.3b1 and 33 firmware.

Chris,

We're aware of this. It is not a defect in the display itself, but a
software issue in the firmware. I'm working on it.

What you're seeing is garbage data being written into the mask and
overlay framebufs (which are for the upcoming visualizer feature).

A soft reset (press & hold power) will clear it.
