View Full Version : Umm, how do I remove an item from the playlist or clear it?

Hi,

If I want to remove a single item from the playlist, or totally clear it
(from the Squeezebox), how do I do it?

I know holding 'Add' removes a single item (always seems to be the first
one, no matter which you've got on screen) - but it places it in a Zapped
song playlist.

I'm sure I'm just missing something - hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Chris.

Chris,

I think if you press and hold add, it will move it to zapped songs. If
you just press it quickly it should remove it. It should also remove
only the title that is currently being displayed--so if you're browsing
up and down through your current playlist in Now Playing, pressing add
should remove the currently displayed song. Holding down add should
remove the currently displayed song and move it to zapped songs as
well.

Thanks Kevin - that does it.

Holding the Add to zap the song does only do the first one though, not the
song that's currently displayed.

Is there any way to clear the playlist, or do I have to go through the
songs one-by-one?

Cheers,
Chris.

Chris,

You can clear the current playlist from the main menu when you're at
'Squeezebox Home' / 'Now Playing' and pressing add there. (Pressing
but not holding...)

You are right. That's a bug. I'll be fixing it.
