I am sure this has been covered before, but I am at a loss... I just
upgraded my router to a Linksys WRT54G (wireless broadband router). My
Squeeze box complains that it cannot access the server. Here is what I have
done:

1. I have confirmed that the server software is running‹I can access it via
the browser. Interesting though, I can access it at http://localhost:9000
but not at the machine¹s local IP (192.168.1.100:9000).
2. The Squeezebox can acquire via DHCP an address (192.168.1.102)
3. I can ping 192.168.1.102 from my server machine with no packet loss
4. I do not have the router¹s firewall feature enabled

I have tried ³port forwarding² 3483, 9000, 9090 and that doesn¹t seem to
make any difference. Finally, I have not changed any settings on my server
machine since replacing my old router. I am running Mac OS X 10.3.5, 5.2.1
server.

Thanks a bunch... I¹d really like to listen to my music again :(

I run a WRT54G here and had no problems with the changeover. Is your SB
wired or wireless? And what were you running before the WRT54G?
