Does anyone actually have one of these yet?

They say they're shipping. If you order today, they'll ship it yesterday.
Well, it says around the 15th.

The whole thing about slimserver is interesting. I mean, it is open
source... but then again, they're using it for another product... and
pointing peopleto slimdevices.com. Sometimes I wish I was a lawyer so my
comments were more meaningful.

Thanks,
Phillip

No point in trying it... unless you want to pay $$$ for the bigger
unit. The smaller SoundBridge unit is the same size display as the new
SqueezeBox units, but the SoundBridge is $50 more.

it is also limited to the capabilities of the slimp3, since it uses the UDP
protocol to connect with slimserver. Unless those eye-candy elements they show
in the pictures are hard coded, you will see exactly the same stuff on the
screen as a slimp3.
