Thats a good scheme for tagging. The only thing I'd add to the tag is

SOURCE= LP or CD or DIGITAL

I've ripped many of my old classical LPs, great performances that I can't
find on CD.

Talking with robin-lists (AT) robinbowes (DOT) com on 11 Aug 2004 at 23:04 about "[slim] Improved support for classic" we discussed:

I wouldn't object to these, but if you're using a search function, it
seems to me that TITLE, PART, OPUS is unnecessary separation.
Similarly, I don't really see the need to have multiple PERFORMER
fields, when a list could be in 1 tag, and could be problematic
unless you can have an arbitrary number of PERFORMER fields.

I'd certainly be willing to hear arguments to the contrary, however.

The other thing we really need is a FreeDB/Gracenote equivalent to
which we can all submit our classical CDs with proper tags.
