home/office and planned to do the ripping and setting up of playlists from
that location. I listen to my music using 'Softsqueeze' and not necessarily
using iTunes. I didn't realize that iTunes sharing shows the playlists also.
I suppose I could do as you suggest and Rip/playlist from the server and all
would be fine. In this day and age I was looking for the 'Lazy man's' way
out. Thanks again for all the quick responses and if there are any other
ideas please pass them on.

Just that I have my server on a KVM switch with my main machine, so
access is just a push button away. Good luck!
