Yesterday I tried upgrading from 7.3 to the latest nightly 7.4.2

The problem I have is that squeezebox server does not allow me to connect to the plugin extension resources and it also does not allow me to enter the mysqueezebox.com account. I get Couldn't resolve IP address error messages.

In logs I get messages like this:
[10-02-06 08:44:54.1491] Slim::Networking::SqueezeNetwork::_error (447) Unable to login to SN: Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.mysqueezebox.com
[10-02-06 08:45:12.6666] Slim::Utils::Misc::msg (1165) Warning: [08:45:12.6662] EV: error in callback (ignoring): pack_sockaddr: invalid host at /<C:\PROGRA~1\SQUEEZ~3\server\SQUEEZ~3.EXE>AnyEvent/DNS.pm line 1089

I then cleaned the pc from all squeeze stuff and reinstalled 7.4.2 from scratch..still the same issue.

Any ideas what is going on here?

thanks,

peter

Got it working by setting squeezebox server to runs as a service at boot up.
