Firstly, the vertical remote looks great! Well done Richard.

However, I have an issue with Softsqueeze when I try to reposition the windows.

I have the vertical remote docked to the top-left edge of the main window, (usually docked to the top-left corner of the display). If I want to move the Softsqueeze windows, I can drag either window to reposition. However, if I drag the main window (especially if the windows are dragged over the top of other running applications), the windows begin to shake violently, like atoms being pulled apart. I have tried moving the remote to dock on the right of the main window, but the same effect happens. (Actually, I can confirm that the same happens with the horizontal remote).

This doesn't seem to happen if I don't have the remote visible, and doesn't happen if I drag using the remote.

Windows XP SP1
NVidia display driver v.6.14.10.6176.

Phil,

Yes, this is a problem with dragging windows in Java due to the way I have
to access the mouse position. On Linux you get this with all skins, XP only
seems to have this problem with the slim skin. This problem will do away if
you upgrade to Java 1.5 beta 2 on both platforms. With the beta you will
also get better quality audio, but Java Web Start won't work. I am hoping
Java 1.5 beta 3 will be released soon!

Regards,
Richard
