Hiya,

I have the oportunity of a reasonable priced psu 5v 6A initially I thought of a spare for my SB, then I though I may well purhase a Touch in the future and would it be interchangable?

I can tell you the Touch & SB3 psu's are interchangeable, if that helps.

The Touch requires a higher current PSU, if an external USB Hard Drive is used. Be on the safe side and use one rated at 3amps or higher!

Yeah, could well be. In beta we were assured the Touch and SB3 psu's were interchangeable, and I did so myself without issue.
But I did not have any USB device attached to the Touch when I did this.

The important thing is that it's easy to find DC plugs/PSU to fit the SB3 (and by implication the Touch) whereas the with the Duet, it was a nightmare.

Ah ha I thought there was a product which operated on a different voltage, thats why I thought I had better double check the touch was 5v, Cheers.
