A harder question would be how NOT to recreate this. If I browse down
into an album (from genre, artist, album, etc) and press play, it starts 3
seconds (or so) into the first song. It's done this ever since I can
remember. If I then press <<, it'll go to the very beginning of the song
(as it should have before). It only happens if I'm selecting/playing a
new album. It happens on softsqueeze (don't have a squeezebox). By the
way, I've never heard any blank spots in the music (in spite of a lack of
synchronization on the display) as was discussed earlier. Neall

I really don't understand what's happening here. Can you try Softsqueeze 1.0
with the latest Slimserver 5.3 beta and see if you still have the problem.
