I WANT ONE!

How do I buy one in the UK?

It's likely to cost more than $20 to ship back to you from the UK.

Are there plans for a UK-based upgrades?

A couple of questions:

1. If I just do my usual upgrade from the CVS will I get this new version,
or do I need to choose a new branch or module?
2. Will this software work with the original displays?

Looking good. I just hope I can get one at a reasonable price.

The new Squeezeboxes are en route to our overseas and Canadian
distributors already, and should be shipping in Europe this week.

Availability of upgrade kits in Europe will be announced shortly -
obviously the pricing and rebate terms will be different. If you want
one immediately, you can order direct but the shipping cost will be
high.

Yes, it is in the main branch.

Yes, the firmware automatically detects which display is connected, and
supports both.

You can send a 300g package for less than 6 - I doubt the display weighs
anything like that much?

Hi,

Do you have any idea how high? As someone else pointed out the old
non-graphic squeezebox sells here for $350 US, so if the shipment wasn't
too much it might well pay for us to order the graphical displays direct
from you guys what with the exchange rates.
$90 US is about 50 GBP even if we weren't able to take the benefit of the
rebate (we couldn't cash a $20 US cheque - unless you could give the rebate
as cash?).

Just want to make sure I can get my hands on one of these upgrades for my
squeezebox :-)

Thanks,
Chris.
