    SoftSqueeze Error

If I start SoftSqueeze via the webstart.html page I get the following
    error:

An error occurred while launching/running the application.

    Title: Softsqueeze pre-0.6.6

    Category: Download Error

      SoftSqueeze Error

This is a know bug with Java 1.5 beta 2, for now you will have to either
use Java 1.4.2 or start Softsqueeze directly from the jar file.

      Regards,
      Richard

        SoftSqueeze Error

I think I'm confused - I thought you needed to updagrade to 1.5 to get
syncing to work. Is this fixed in SoftSqueeze 1.0 or will I just have
        to be patient :-)

          SoftSqueeze Error

the audio engine in Java 1.4 isn't up to snuff for sync. Annoyingly 1.5 beta
          doesn't let webstart work.

            SoftSqueeze Error

            Neil,

Unfortunatly the problem is with the Java 1.5 beta and I cannot work around
it in Softsqueeze. So your options for now are; use webstart with Java 1.4.2
and sync will be about half a second out, or download Softsqueeze 1.0 and
launch it by double clicking on the Softsqueeze.jar file.

            Regards,
            Richard
