kdf-
I checked the security and I do not have IP blocking
on.

I would like to do two things with the PDA.

#1 control my slimserver when it is playing through my
stereo. To do that I used to go to
http://localhost:9000/Handheld/ where localhost is my
IP address and it would work. Now I can't get that to
work.

#2 I would like to listen to a stream from my PDA. I
open GSPlayer, File/Open URL and enter in
http://localhost:9000/stream.mp3 where localhost is my
IP address. It says connecting and then just stops.
I must be failing to make a connection to the
slimserver.

Any ideas?

Dan

For doing this, that's where the d_http will come in handy. of course, without
access to the web from your pda, you will have to try viewing the log from
another pc that can connect. If the server is showing no information in the
log whatsoever, then your problem is probably with the wireless connection
actually reaching the pc on which slimserver is running.
