Hello,
Everything is in the title... Can Logitech provide a clear answer?
Thanks!

By the way, none of the Squeezebox is now available on the Logitech Swiss Website.... it's a shame... specially for a Swiss Company...

Hi,

I'm not Logitech, but they have said several times here that it is indeed "limited" in the senses that they won't be making as many red as black, and to expect to have to search for them. That's confirmed by the fact that they are only in their US online store - which will not sell to people in Europe or many other places outside the US. Those of us in other countries have to search for the few dealers advertising them. So far we've found one in the Netherlands with stock, and one in the UK advertising pre-orders.

John - who bought a black because of the poor supply of red.

They are also selling it here: http://www.digimania.be and same shop on ebay: http://cgi.befr.ebay.be/Radios-Internet-Logitech-Squeezebox-Radio-Rouge_W0QQitemZ370282257336QQcmdZViewItemQQptZFR_L C_TV_Son_Home_Cinema_Audio_Portable_Radio_Radios?h ash=item56368adbb8

My thoughts exactly. Apparently they are revamping the website (For over a month...). I have tried telling them directly, but it seems that they don't really care. I also wrote to sales@slimdevices.com , but they have nothing to do with it...

Yes, it was a limited edition in the sense that they were going to
make fewer than the black. But the plan (when I worked there) was to
make more if it sold well.

How is it going to sell well when it is unavailable?

The first product image I ever saw of the Radio was red, and I immediately wanted one because it would have perfectly matched the color scheme of my kitchen. But then the red images all disappeared, and logitech.de no longer has any indication that a color other than black exists at all.

In the meantime I've got myself a pre-owned Boom from eBay instead because I was tired of waiting (and I thought about painting it red, but then I was afraid I would ruin it), so it is quite unlikely that I still would buy a Radio even if red became available now. :(
