Hi Dean,
I am not totally sure of my facts but I think the problem has always
occurred when I've paused the Squeezebox and then returned sometime later to
use it again (I tend to pause it when I've finished listening rather than
use the remote's power button, a bad habit). Before I return to it generally
I will have used the amp that the Squeezebox feeds (via standalone DAC) for
some other purpose (e.g. TV or CD). It is when I come to switch the amp back
to use the Squeezebox input that I have come across the problem.
When it happens next time I will take more notice.
