selecting tracts, or random

I am wondering if this is how the SB does it or if mine is acting up.

going to my iTunes playlists I select the playlist, push the big dial, scroll down to one track in the playlist and push the big dial again or push the play button, and a random track starts, not the track I had selected.

does the same if I select the album, select the track, hit play, and not the track I select, but a different tract in the same album.

I would assume I can select one track and hit play, but it doesn't work that way :(

Turn shuffle off.
Settings > Shuffle.
