Alright - this is crazy. I've been running Slim + squeeze successfully for a
few months now, with various plugins. I've recently downloaded Moodlogic,
which seems to have integrated with Slimserver (5.1.5) no problem. But I'm
buggered if I can find any documentation for using Moodlogic with my
Squeezebox anywhere!

I've Googled, and checked the Slim discussions, and checked the Moodlogic
website...

My Squeezebox is showing an 'm' in the top corner of the screen for certain
tunes. But I can't see that any of my standard menu options have changed.
Not sure what to do now...

Any help (or links to ANY documentation) would be very gratefully received!

cheers
Chippy

press and hold play when you see the M.

On an Artist/Genre, this will take you to the mood wheel. Choose a mood
direction, then press right. Then you get the variety combo, lower number means
greater variety. The default for this slider can be set inteh server settings
-> additional server settings -> moodlogic.

On a song, it goes straight to variety combo. Up/Down arrows raise and lower
the value, again lower number means greater variety. Then press right to
generate the Instant Mix. The maximum number of songs for the mix can be set in
the server settings for moodlogic.

If you don't like the playlist and want to adjust the variety combo again, press
left, adjust, then right.

I have a problem with achieving Moodlogic integration in the first
place. I'm running the most recent version of SlimServer (5.2.1) and
have recently installed Moodlogic (2.7), both on the same machine, but
haven't noticed any difference in my Squeezebox remote or SlimServer
web interface, nor can I find a place in the server settings to
configure anything.

Is there a particular process to install/integrate these? Any help
would be appreciated.

Best,

Adam

Your server settings should show an option for Use Moodlogic, if the moodlogic
installation has been detected. There is also a page for other settings in
Server settings->additional server settings for Moodlogic.

If you do not see this, try running slimserver from the command line. First,
stop the service. Then click start->programs->accessories->command prompt.
type c:\program files\slimserver\server\slim.exe --d_moodlogic, and press enter.
If you used the default install directory this will work as is. If not, you'll
have to change the path. This should now start running the server, and show you
messages related to finding moodlogic.

One possible problem is that it might detect a locked database. If so, please
download this tool and run it. It should free up the database and clean up
corruption.
http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/moodlogic/Test_MoodLogic_COM.exe

hope that helps.
