Issues :

Much slower response time (even in classic mode). Admittedly on a MSI Atom processor desktop running the web interface.

Artwork scanning problematic at best with artwork in a separate directory.
It would pick up some but skip others. Never picked up new music artwork without doing a complete scan.

Killer issue : We use the Duet controller as a player outside. Looks like that is broke big time wint 7.4. Stuttering, Skipping. No problems with 7.3.4

Lost the "Extras" to see weather with SuperDateTime.

Positive: I did think the sound was "crisper" with 7.4

Still love the products. Will wait for 7.4 to "age" a bit.

PS : All the issues resolved with rollback to 7.3.4

My response time experience was just the opposite. 7.4 is the fastest version I've seen since I obtained my first SB over 2 years ago.

Once I updated all my plug-ins, SuperDateTime popped up on my SB3 screensavers exactly as they had before.

Any Ideas? about 2 years old all update has been seamless I am not a power user any Help is appreciated

PS if I do update it copies 100 percent reports error and says contact support (did it about 15 teen times)

Maybe you should call support?

Download the Controller firmware you want to use, then use the "manual update using an SD Card" trick.

I seriously doubt a FW upgrade would effect the quality of the sound. A psychological effect.

You only need one of the files in that link. Which file depends on what operating system are you using. If it's Windows, you want the one that says "Windows Executable" in the description. If you're running MacOS then you want the one with "Mac OSX Disk Image". And so on.
