This 'Mobile' skin is really good on modern phone browsers but it's a pain to install as it's not in any extension downloader repositories.

Please could somebody add it to theres or point me in the direction of instructions on how to setup a repository for it?

Note that the download is in the 8th post, not the 1st

It needs to be a plugin and there needs to be a repository for it.

If that's done, you can add it here:

Edit: Erland can tell how to make a skin into a plugin, he wrote the wrapper for the iPeng skin. I understand it's like three lines of code and a install.xml plus knowing how to package all this up.

How would I request this to be added to the SBS build?

Find someone who's willing to maintain it, not only now, but in a year too. Then post a request on bugs.slimdevices.com.

I think you will be better of by distributing it as a plugin as pippin suggested in the previous post.

Installing a plugin through "Plugins" tab is just a matter och checking a checkbox, all you need is a repository xml file and adding a link to it on the wiki page pippin mentioned. After that, someone will add it to the list of repositories used by Squeezebox Server.

cheers for the info.

Does the zip need to be in a special format, eg a folder in the zip

Take a look at the following post, the initial version of the iPeng skin plugin is attached to this post:

If you have done it correctly you should be able to unzip the zip in the "Plugins" directory, restart the server and use the new skin. If that works, you can continue with the next step, making a repository xml file.
