Hi all,

Never used Squeezecentre under Windows before, but a flaky net connection at
work has led me to install it there and copy my music over rather than
accessing my home system. I figured that as 7.4 had just been released I'd
give that a go.

Getting the following error when scanning while trying to merge Various
Artists:

[09-09-29 13:05:32.9695] main::main (310) Error: Failed when running scan
post-process: [Carp::Clan::__ANON__(): Carp::Clan::__ANON__(): DBI

contributorTracks.role = ? AND me.album = ? ) ) ORDER BY
contributorTracks.track"] at

Any ideas? That directory appears to be writable by 'Everyone'.

Cheers

Andy

That's most likely McAfee or another antivirus product blocking access to *.my* files. Tell it not to do so and try again.

I also tried to run Squeezeserver 7.4 for the first time on an Windows XP computer.
Every time the scan stops after a while.
I have had the same sort of errors in the scanner.log.

The solution, as mherger above said, was to disable for some time my Mcfee virusscanner.
I have also found another thread about this problem:

Thanks for your help.

Yep, that did it. Adding an exclusion for 'my?' in the on demand scanner
allowed the scan to complete successfully.

Thanks

Andy
