Instead of using SqueezeCenter, is there a way to upload some of my files to a file sharing site, and then create Favorites to access them?

Even better, it would be nice if those files appeared on my SqueezeNetwork account -- making it easier to add them as favorites.

I tried uploading a file to 4shared.com, but couldn't figure out how to play it (creating the Favorite worked, but it wouldn't play).

Thanks in advance.

You might want to try MP3tunes.

http://mp3tunes.com/

Full integration with SqueezeNetwork and SqueezeCenter.

To do it manually, you would need to treat the play lists like radio streams, and "tune" them in.

Thanks. Are there other choices besides mp3tunes?

None that integrate with Squeezenetwork.

In fact, I don't know of any other services like that full stop.

The only alternative at the moment is Rhapsody or Napster, but that is custom radio feeds using their library, not yours.

Spotify has been suggested, but they don't have an API that Logitech can hook into at the moment. With Spotify you have access to their library, plus you can upload your own tracks if they are missing from the main one.
