Anyone think that the SB3 street prices will drop when Touch hits the UK?
I doubt it, Touch is £259, SB3 is £179. If I was in the market at the moment for a new unit I'd go for the SB3 and I'm sure lots of other would. There will still be a high demand for the SB3.

I bought one from Ripcaster last year for £145, but $/£ exchange has since driven prices up. Was just wandering if we may get typical experience/price curve drop in IT kit, before next Big Thing or iteration ramps up shipments. Plus $ rate now a but more favourable to UK.

The Touch was the very reason to bring me back the Squeezebox platform, a few days ago I bought a Classic for £155 from Ripcaster and now a very happy man :)
My son wants a Radio and I'll still be getting the Touch when its out, but just could not wait until December...

For the Touch interface?
@turbot fiend: keep an eye on Amazon for bargain SB3's, although it's the only SB product they've never drastically offered reduced, maybe they will when it's discontinued

Well actually the LCD screen to see the Album Artwork, with my sausage fingers I'll probably stick to the remote.
