I recently (3 weeks ago) bought 3 wireless Squeezeboxes. The only problems I
had were related to my running both b & g networks. Although this was
nothing to do with the Slim device I was able to get some ideas from this
discussion forum on how best to set it up - I doubt any other etailer could
offer anywhere near such service.

what is coming up. I have had no problems and use the system (plus a copy
of softsqueeze) every day. I am listening to tracks that I have probably
only heard once before (when I bought the original CD). The plugins, such as
BBC News Ticker, are superb - they really make it a 'good feeling' piece of

Buy one - or two - or three!

Subject: [slim] Why would I want one?

I have a question for everyone. With all the issues I read about in this
forum with squeezebox, slimserver and more,
why would I ever consider owning one? When I first heard about the device, I
was all excited to purchase it, but then I started reading the hundreds of
messages posted about problems folks are having and now I have second
thoughts. It sounds like way too much trouble to bother with.
