Karl,

Probably this is the bug that we recently fixed - the trick is getting
the newer rev with the fix to load now.... please try two things:

1) try doing the update over ethernet instead of 802.11
2) if you're comfortable opening the case and you have a torx size 10
screwdriver handy, please try removing the wireless card. Then put the
wireless back in after doing the upgrade.

Actually Karl, before you send it in there's one more thing to try. We
saw a problem similar to this that was due to a bug in the server where
it wouldn't transmit the update entirely. According to all other
reports it is working okay now, but it does sound similar to what
you're getting.

Any chance you could try the update from a different computer/OS? If
you'd like, I can provide a server on the internet that you can try
loading the upgrade from.
