Hi,
My music collection is partially local to my XP SlimServer and I
also have three Windows shares. The music is being found on all these drives
OK. However when I Browse Music Folder from the SliMP3 remote I am
correctly getting a list of all my paths saying Music Folder 1 of 4 and
then if I select one particular share I get a pause then just Music Folder 3
of 4 displayed - no other info at all - I can use up and down arrow to
display Music Folder 4 of 4 Music Folder 1 of 4 etc but the bottom display
line is always blank and the right arrow does nothing. Left arrow takes me
back to the 'Browse Music Folder' menu. My other shares browse correctly
with the little rotating / \ symbol although sometimes the first hierarchy
is labeled 'target' for some reason. Initial navigation into Browse Music
Library lists all 4 paths correctly on the bottom line.
The SliMP3 seems to have acess to this problem share drive in that
it plays files on that drive with the correct path showing - although I seem
to have only some of the tracks in an album eg tracks 2 4 7 9 10 11 and the
others are absent (will check the tags) - this was a rip of a brand new CD.
I tried navigating into the folder to solve this latter problem by
seeing if they are visible but discovered the first issue.
Any ideas ?
