I have a Logitech Squeezebox with two different part numbers on the box. The UPC printed on the box is 930-000009 and the sticker above it says P/N 830-000012.
The sticker on the botoom of the unit is 830-000012.
Is there any difference between 830-000012 and 930-000009?
Thanks in advance!

It gives no name on the box or device(s)? SB3? SB Classic? Boom? Duet? Controller? Receiver?

930-000009 seems to be the US P/N for the "Classic". UK and NL use 930-000012, I noticed.

I wonder if 830-000012 is the part number for the Squeezebox3 and 930-000009 the part number for the Squeezebox Classic? If so, no practical difference - the SB3 was rebranded as the Classic post Logitech acquisition but the design and hardware are identical.

The unit (I believe) is a Squeezebox3 purchased new in December 2007. It's in the Logitech packaging, just says "Squeezebox Wireless Digital Music Player" on the box (no model #) and has the picture with "Pink Martini - Veronique" displayed on the unit.
It sounds like two different naming/numbering conventions were used for the same product.

The one starting with 8 is the part number for the Squeezebox itself, the one starting with the 9 is the part number for the whole kit, box and all.
