I just downloaded tonights slimserver and noticed
there is a new option under Server Settings for
iTunes. I choose to have iTunes as my music library
but when I go to the iTunes link in server settings it
is making me manually enter in the location of the
..xml (which I finally did) and also the location of
the iTunes music folder even though I have "Find
iTunes Library Automatically" checked automatically.

Now Slimserver isn't finding any of my itunes music.
How do I make it seek itunes automatically again?

Dan

Hi Dan,

Can you explain what you mean by "making me manually enter"? You
shouldn't have to adjust those settings if you just turn on the main
Use iTunes setting on the first Server Settings page.

II think the problem is that the server settings for:
iTunes Music Library.xml Locations

doens't accept a blank. Thus, when any other settings are changed, it will give
an error saying the file isn't valid. However, by default the current versions
shoudl be finding the xml file automatically. The manual settings is mainly for
linux users who can only find the xml automatically if its in teh music folder.
