View Full Version : Strange Behaviour

has anyone else seen this, have any ideas?

Music is currently playing, nicely sync's across 2 SBR's and 2 SB3's.
Both SB3's display "Connection timed out" and the track details from when I suffered some 'rebuffering' issues (see thread http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65719)
The spectrum analyser (background on SB3 displays) appears aligned to the playing music.

The Web UI is up to date as is iPeng app on iPhone.
On waking the SBC, it briefly showed the old track (in line with SB3's) but then refreshed itself to the playing track.

This has happened almost everyday for the past week (normally after experiencing rebuffering issues). The display does NOT recover on selecting new music (via SBC).

The display DOES 'update' and then remains correct (until next failure) if
1) the SB3 is power cycled
2) I hunt down and then use the IR remote for the SB3 (e.g. change SIZE of display, use menus). But then it only changes the SB3 that recievd IR signal and not the other one.

running SqueezeCentre on HP Media Smart:-
Version: 7.3.3 - 27044 @ Mon Jun 15 15:14:08 PDT 2009
Server HTTP Port Number: 9000
Operating system: Windows Server 2003 - EN - cp1252
Platform Architecture: 586
Perl Version: 5.8.8 - MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

Receivers at firmware:62
SB3's at firmware: 127

I've ordered some HomePlugs to try and fix the rebuffering but still think the 'connection timed out' should not persist after music has recovered (rebuffered).
