I'm using the Fishbone web interface.

When I search for songs (eg. "Beatles cover") and get several files returned, I'd like the ability to add all songs to a playlist, but the usual "All Songs" option is not listed, so I have to manually add each one.

Also, I was wondering if there is a way of searching other tags, especially comments. For example, I have added keywords in comment tags. eg. "Cover", and not always written these into the file name or song title.

Hi Philip,

These are good suggestions. Can you add them to our database:
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/ so that they get tracked?

Thanks,

dean

p.s. You can add all the songs in a search result by pressing ADD or
PLAY while still on the search screen, right before you press RIGHT
again to execute the search. It's a little obscure, but it works.

Sure.

I was attempting to do it via the web interface - there is no current workaround for this. I haven't tried from my SqueezeBox yet.

I have now added these as enhancement requests.

BTW, is it common courtesy to discuss ideas in this discussion group before submitting through bugzilla, or should I just put forward any ideas as a new bug of type enhancement (does someone look through those new entries and accept/reject)?

I have also added another enhancement request, which is in a way related to these two items. But perhaps I should have discussed it here first? (it's bug #380 - Automatic playlists).

Thanks,
Phil

We do go through the new bugs submitted to bugs.slimdevices.com and do
triage on them to proritize. We welcome discussion on the list,
especially for new feature requests and significant changes and bugs.

I saw that. Thanks. Feel free to discuss as well...
