How to I package an Squeezeplay applet together with a Squeezebox Server plugin ?

I tried the method described in the following thread but I couldn't find the applet in the Squeezeplay interface, not even in Applet Installer:
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39772

I'm making an applet that's heavily dependent on a plugin part, so I would prefer to distribute them in the same package. Isn't this possible ?

Do I have to distribute them as two completely separate packages in Extension Downloader ?

Short answer is yes... I was planning something more than this, but its not
going to happen in the short term as it assumed 3rd party stuff would get
hosted on SN.

There is currently no push mechanism for installing applets on SqueezePlay -
you should package the applet up for SqueezePlay and create a repo entry for
it. As long as the repo is selected in Extension Downloader, you will then
see the applet as available for install on the SqueezePlay "AppletInstaller"
menu. Note that you don't actually see the applet on the SC user interface,
but you do need the repo to be available to SC.
