I have always had this, iMac 1Ghz.... selecting everything will cause
LOTS of hard disk activity, and the server connection will be lost,
sometimes for a long time. The web-interface does not respond during
all this activity either. In-fact its a pain in the behind, because its
all too easy to turn on the squeezebox, and press play - just to render
the thing inoperable for the next few minutes - or until you can delete
the huge playlist its been busy building. I personally would like the
play-everything function removed, or perhaps a "play everything, are
you sure?" prompt.

May be you lack some more RAM? How much do you have, how much songs?

Clearly NO! for the removal. Nobody has to use it, but I like it.

Together with the different shuffle modes I can listen to anything, and if
I like a song, I can play the whole album with only one butten (shuffle
album).
