Gaps in playback

Hi,

I'm experiencing random gaps when playing songs. They last for a few
seconds. The distribution is very random but it probably averages out to
1 every 10 to 15 minutes. I don't think it's a resource contention
problem. Nothing else is grabbing bandwidth or CPU cycles. During the
gap, the slim executable is using 100% CPU.

Is this is a known problem? Are there any workarounds?

All,

I have been experiencing the same types of gaps that Keith described. It
got to be kind of annoying after while. There seems to be no pattern to
these gaps that I have noticed, but the length and frequency were just as
you described. Any help on this issue would be great. Thanks.
