View Full Version : Server upgrade => JVC IR codes not working

Hi Hugh,

One thing you did mention earlier was that your slimp3 was one of the early
ones and that you were still running firmware 1.3. I'm pretty sure that
there was a compulsory upgrade somewhere along the line as you went through
server versions; it may be worth you installing the 2.3 firmware bundled in
the distribution (it also fixes a collision problem for people using hubs).

I've no idea if this will fix things but since I've come from the days of
server version 1.8 and managed to maintain a working system on the same
hardware but now using firmware 2.2 and server code 5.1.6 (nightly) then I
suspect that it's something like that that will be causing the problem.

Cheers,

James

I tried the latest nightly (2004-06-06) and it makes no difference.

That's the issue. Update the firmware on your SLIMP3 to the latest
version...
