I am trying to edit the handheld skin so that the artist appears in
brackets after each album. Is this possible?

Inserting [% artist %] in browseid3.htm results in an * after each
album, persumeably as this list is a search with * as the artist.

Thanks

I have also noticed that the default text size for the handheld skin is
/a lot/ smaller than it used to be in 5.1.5 . Is this purposeful or a bug?

Cheers

This might be due to me adding some CSS. The version in 5.1.5 didn't use
any CSS at all. The original author wrote the skin for MS Pocket IE which
does not seem to handle this. But this wasn't as good as I wanted it to be
on my Zaurus handheld running Opera.

If you want the "old" layout back, simply rename/remove the slimserver.css
in the HTML/Handheld folder of your SlimServer installation.

What browser do you use? On which device?

Firefox and Internet Explorer, Windows XP

Happens in both browsers

On screens with a 1280x1024 resolution and the like the fonts may seem
small. But as the handheld skin has been developped for handhelds, space
is a concern. Larger fonts will clutter the small screens and will need
scrolling. This can be a real pain, especially if it's horizontal
scrolling. That's why I reduced the font size.

Does it change if you remove the css file?

Yeh - back to the normal size. I will delete that file in future.
